I guess I agree with the content of this message, but I mostly just like all the words in it. :P
The Rinzler/Tron thing is spot on. I mean, c'mob... the movie is STILL named for him!
1. If you were of limited mobility, wouldn't you want to go as fast as possible when you could?
2. That's not a handicap pass. I'm guessing it's a lot pass.
I can appreciate your frustration, since internet conversations often use their own slang as well as stuff like tropes from tvtropes.com and sometimes the conversation is derailed by terms I haven't heard before because I've been hanging out on the wrong part of the intertubes.
It's OK. Kirby's just looking over there. *points over there*
So.... "first" I guess? :P
This book definitely has some beautiful pieces. I'm blown away by how well the creators capture form as well as function. I'm a mixture of inspired and awed.

How could you leave out #7. Definitely the best!
C'mon people. Miata could've been the answer here too:
Great read. The intro doesn't do a very good job of setting up what's to come though. Makes it seem like a love letter to the N64, instead of a series of delightfully connected anecdotes about life, with video games.
The designers working on Smash have always been damned good. They manage to take these iconic characters and make definitive versions of them. To me, Smash is the one reason why I would like a 2D (or 3D a la Other M) game. There's something fun about occasionally just kicking something, instead of shooting it. They…
Does NASA count? If so: Blackbird!
