Do you live near a Kroger grocery store? I don’t know who their vendor is, but their store brand worms/bears are really good. I find Haribo to be too tough as well, but the Kroger store brand is softer, and they usually sell for a dollar a bag.

Passing the Pleasant Company catalog around during recess was such a huge deal in elementary school. Everything used to be so well-made and beautiful, and now my niece’s dolls are just plastic Mattel junk that totally isn’t worth the price. I always feel so old when I say things like that, but it’s true.
