I’m Mr Werkmeister

I do this too and it is my biggest fear to be accused of copying someone’s accent

Holy shit I am not alone. Whenever I speak with someone with an accent or watch a show/movie filled with accents, I sort of adopt this weird fucking accent almost like I am trying to mimic them, but I am not.

As someone who is not an actor, I am prone to this. I lost my native accent within a year of moving from my homeland and returned home with some weird hybrid of all the people I’d met/places I’d been. If I spend time around people with accents, I don’t really pick up their exact accent but some weird version of it.

I don’t understand why someone didn’t just say something.

As Hank Hill says: You’re not making Christianity better, you’re making Rock and Roll worse!

Keep pounding! Some of the horse is still three-dimensional!

Ah yes, I remember how readers of this particular site showed their true colors the first time Jezebel reported on this.

If anyone is wondering what happened to the serif, it was me! I did it!

She asked for the bowl hot. He warned her “this is hot.” At that point, what happens is her own damn fault. No sympathy whatsoever.

Jared Taylor of American Renaissance, meanwhile, speculates that Ted Cruz will actually be better about “standing up for whites:”

Don’t worry; she made herself feel better afterward by checking out some James Baldwin books, cause reading a guy who wouldn’t have even been allowed inside the building when he was alive makes it all okay.

This was the weirdest piece. So pretentious and schizophrenic.

And then wrote a barely readable essay about it.

Agreed so much. I kept waiting for it to get better, but

What was that ending about?

Thank you. What a bunch of pointless, anti-climactic navel gazing with absolutely nothing interesting to say. It reads like a college freshman’s first semester essay.

Interview people going in and out of the restaurant. Do a highlight/review of other BBQ restaurants in the surrounding area. Instead, she went and paid and ate, and purchased a meal for someone who didn’t even go with her? I’m not really sure what the point is?

If she was lying about her pregnancy then the C-section appointment was probably made up too.
