In Resident Evil 4, there is that part at the beginning where you only have a handgun and limited ammo, then suddenly you have an entire town's worth of people trying to kill you.

Kind of a silly stand-alone product. Seeing as, the point of the game is a bit lost without the campaign... Online freeroam is really only cool because of the events from the game giving you some reference on why the landmarks are important in the game world.

oh boy... this means more fits of anger in my near future.

It's not like military personnel are banned from buying the game... They can easily purchase off-base. A lot of people ignore that fact.

I agree that they do make games easier these days, but most modern games also have the ability to change their difficulty settings...

@GS Alf: agreed.. they must have bowling. Was just talking about that with a friend the other day. Simple but fun.. great party game.

I love Metal Gear, quirks and all.. but I'd rather see a hiatus from MGS, and see Kojima move onto something else... at least for a little while.

Gotta wonder if it is a direct sequel or a 'spiritual' successor? (i.e. Ico is to Shadow of the Collosus)
