Ah! Yeah I misread that, although it wasn’t entirely clear! I read it as you needed a tow vehicle FOR the BMW.

And make a slow car slower, and a crappy handling car handle worse. Hmm, possibly not the right candidate for this guy

I actually don’t hate the front end...

I tend to avoid recommending vehicles that I don’t have experience with, so how about a Volvo C30? It might take a little searching, but Gabe should be able to find one with a 6-MT while staying within budget. If they enjoyed the Abarth (apart from the reliability) the C30 could be a nice upgrade while also being far

Why not try japanese 3-series ? In fact it’s better looking and more reliable than 3-series, not to mention it’s available in both MT and AT and arguably more fun than 3-series

Just get a Civic Si and drive it until you are 30. The Accord is a good choice too.

“the car reared its ugly head and needed transmission maintenance which was almost the price of the car itself,”

The correct answer here is 2015 V6 Mustang and a set of winter tires. You get the current generation of the Mustang, which is extremely fun to drive; you get drop-dead reliability (the only major failure point is a drive shaft that will explode at high speeds, but the cars are electronically limited to 115 mph to

And when you put Honda’s smooth-shifting six-speed behind that V6, you get one of the most underrated machines of the last decade.

The Accord is the answer.

If you take a FiST and swap in a certain GM V8, does that give you the FiST of the Northstar?

The 500's ergonomics are a bit notorious in that regard.

For some reason I didn’t presume that, and I probably should have, yeah lol.

There seems to be some funky shit going on here. The license plate frames are from Wishlist Auto Sales in Elk Grove. I live in Elk Grove and have never heard of this place. Auto sales lots are very heavily regulated here and other than the dealerships at the Elk Grove Auto Mall don’t exist. This is a guy picking up

Badges removed? Pass.

Driven by an adult : yeah, blown engine after 43,000 miles? ND

Rob, the “This Old House” of cars does exists (or did for 13 seasons).

I love my “ugly” Element but lord, someone has a 2011 EX for sale for $20,900 on the Element Facebook group I’m in. It was a dealership vehicle and they have all the maintenance records receipts, but GOOD GOD PEOPLE - that’s more than what I paid for mine new.

I like the idea of a Delica but get the Space Gear. Same awd, great space, turbo diesel but with a front end that won’t die in in a front end collision
