The most expensive would be the GT500. And if you look above, I recommended they don’t buy the Mustang.  We’re assuming the poster is an adult, so we’re assuming they can afford the $60k... and he didn’t ask for financial advice.  And that “huge depreciation hit” is nothing right now, and will be as long as the chip

I had a true R/T with a non-matching 440.  Would rather pay less and have a swapped-in lesser trim.

Great answer!  Now these are relatively special.

I agree except with the “special” requirement

Disagree. I have 991.5 Targa 4S taste and Mustang GT money.

If he’s got buyers remorse (like it definitely reads) before he’s even got it.. that a clear sign to me that this isn’t the right car for him.

This is the right answer, as long as you don’t care about numbers matching R/T and whatnot (I don’t). I actually thought this too.. but ‘68 as that’s my favorite year. Cool, comfortable, not terribly fast by modern standards but fast enough, fun, and definitely special.

Porsches are pretty common. Unless you’re super remote, one sees Porsches often.  Right now, a C8 is more special.

What have you heard? I’ve heard AWD which sounds great, and also hybrid.. which I’m not terribly into. Any reputable sources?

Look I love S550 Mustangs.. but it’s just a Mustang.  This guy wants something special.

This is moronic. But so is buying a new BMW Mini. So it checks out.

I kinda thought you were dead, but I’m glad to see you’re still kicking. I’m guessing that refraining from posting exciting photos has killed your motivation to come here anymore.

Don’t worry Owen, hardly anyone here knows this reference either

Subarus are one of those cases of “it’s a stereotype for a reason”. They burn oil, sometimes a lot. Yes, even new ones. Subaru doesn’t look at it like a design flaw, or even a problem.. it’s just an accepted standard. Add oil every other fillup.. or in some cases every fillup.

The option for *shrug, maybe* is not to vote either way

No

I’m still showing TWB.  Newest post was 17 minutes ago.

Yeah that’s super weird. Iirc the Focus ST is kinda like that too (from a test drive I took).  Makes heel-toeing really difficult, if not impossible.
