Miserable performance. It’s just a very, very slow car. Turns well though, I’m told...
My brother has an Accord EX-L V6 6MT coupe. What a great car.
I love the commercial. And the Abarths are fun too.
Which will be harder to justify.. the hatchback or the pony car? I babied in my mustang just fine.
So I don’t want the Honda bois to light me on fire... but have any of you actually driven one of these? I thought they were awesome until I drove one. Slow and boring. Which makes sense when you look at the high weight-to-power ratio.. which I looked up after driving one since I was shocked at how boring it was.
$15.8k from Carvana for my ‘11 4Runner. Laughable up here in the PNW. I estimate I could get over $20k for it, but it’s just been way too good to me to sell it now.
Yeah.. older Volvos are worth approximately pocket lint. $13,000 Ameribucks for one with 100k on the clock is absolute crazytown.
Ps. I would love to see a Suzuki GSX-R motor in it. Do period suspension with brakes possibly from something cheap in the 2000s if possible. Replace all the missing parts, but otherwise drive it like it looks.
Lots of enablers in here, but what did you expect... I’ll be that guy: Uh yeah.. you should NOT buy this heap.
“..moving at such a high rate of speed...”
Gawd I hope you’re right.
A modern minivan can outperform Bond’s DB5. Doesn’t make the Aston any less cool or fun. Speed isn’t everything, it’s not even the biggest thing to me. And there’s always something/somebody faster anyway.
Ehh.. all newer cars are complicated. Have you seen the network of computer-controlled heat exchangers in the ATS-V? I’d never be able to fix that car with something in the back seat or in a parts store five minutes before close.
“the longer one spends in academia, the weirder and more out of touch they get”
The finger wagging is tiresome. Plus I consider myself fairly educated, and even I tire of the unnecessarily verbose diction and 20-dollar words over and over. It’s like: I’M IN ACADEMIA, SEE? DO YOU SEE?? HEY! I’M IN ACADEMIA! I think Elizabeth might’ve felt that way too as she even offered a translation.
Ehh.. this might be just your perception. In my circles the mustang has gotten cooler because it can now turn with IRS, and can be had with lots of power and a (made of glass) stick for relatively few dollars. It’s basically become a real sports car.
That’s an interesting premise that feels true. Assuming it is.. what’s the fix?
