Sooo I like Honda in general and this sounds fun... but is $9000 for a ~300 hp/tq engine a good deal?? Can’t you find a new ~500+ hp/tq LS for $7500ish or even less?

Pedant checking in. If you’re going to define an acronym when writing, it’s generally a good idea to use said acronym later in your piece. Otherwise what was the point of defining it.
This whole idea that you can’t criticize a car (or really anything) simply because you can’t afford it has to stop.
I also at first thought Ghia then went Mercedes. IMO, the car looked better in the dark.
Right there with you. I’m also in the “club” and I get the Rad aesthetic. When he mentioned how much he was going to list the car for, I have to admit I balked. But after seeing his glorious pictures and the time he took to get everything the way it was.. just like he mentioned “the unique experience the designers and…
Just uber man. It’s not worth it.
It’s been a thing for a while. They were pulling it on BaT for a while until the members mocked them mercilessly over it... now it’s rare to see it on there. Kudos to you for walking out over it. $725 for absolutely nothing ain’t nothin.
Isn’t that a shooting brake too?..
I don’t live in Scottsdale, but the boomers you describe seem way more likely to spend their hundreds of thousands of dollars on motorhome RVs.
How expensive does your house have to be for one to be in the market for this? And at that point... are they paying someone else to haul this?
You’ll work a shitty job and like it! And be thankful for it! How dare you say that things could be better!!!
I’ve come full circle on the interior.
You and a couple of other people have mentioned this and I find it really interesting. I have two jobs, and in both of them everybody’s salary is public knowledge. Like if you’re in position X with Y years experience, you make Z per year. If you want to make as much as George over there makes, well then you know what…
I also drove an M3 as a young man, but I (thankfully) never got a comment like that. Most of the time it was people begging for money or for gas (at gas stations). Super annoying and got old really fast. Plus people assumed I was rich and/or snobby and I’d have to overcome that first impression/assumption. I was happy…
Also, it’s pretty damn ugly for that price tag.
Sweet!
Totally agree. I’m in eastern WA, so I have to assume the list was mostly considering factors in western WA. It’s great over here.. great roads, usually no salt used, no inspection or anything where I am.
Bleh. Have you driven in Hawaii? I have many times. Long trips (about as long as they can be), short trips, rural, city, you name it. It sucks. Big time.
It’s both parties. All of them. They’re the same. They do the same things. They damn near say the same things.
