I read his little joke and now I also wish you were dead.

Given the many references to the Aerys stash of wildfire this season, I'm surprised there weren't more to Rhaegar to avoid such confusion.

Or perhaps the fear was that Robert's future in-laws would intend the baby harm. That would be some great foresight, considering Joffrey went on a baby bastard killing spree.

I posed this question on the expert review's comment board. The shit has yet to stop raining upon me.

You're correct. Earlier in the season, Jon and Sansa both pinpointed the root of their shared tragedy on leaving Winterfell. Sansa's departure satisfied her dream of becoming royalty and Jon's his dream of serving the Night's Watch. Didn't work out too well for either of them, and they are now acutely aware of how

I think you're absolutely right. The amount of conclusions to the contrary is surprising.

Great observations on her attire and necklace

I thought the whole don't be a psycho like your father piece of advice qualified.

Right before he jumped, when Tommen briefly walked out of shot, he was murder-suiciding Ser Pounce.

I gotta watch again cause you're not the only one who interpreted it that way, but I totally did not. I thought she was pleased with Jon's ascension but then looked unhappy when she remembered that Little Finger was lurking about and is clearly going to be a pain in their ass.

No, he stabilized the city, which prompted the masters to attack, resulting in fans interpreting Tyrion's actions as disastrous. The people were safe and rallying around Dany thanks to Tyrion, of course the Masters couldn't let it continue and had to strike during her prolonged absence. They were ultimately fucked if

Yeah, it's not like Dany has consistently sought out and rewarded wise counsel, or that Tyrion is clearly one of the smartest characters on the show. It's probably the thing you said, where rather than being true to the character, it's just a "forced" decision made by the writers you've clearly outsmarted.

Just a thought, not a conviction. But I also wonder why they obscured direct confirmation of Jon's lineage with whispering?

Maybe he took her by force?

Wait. Hold up. What if Lyana did direct Ned to make sure Rhaegar never found out about Jon. Could it be because Jon really is the son of Lyanana and Robert? I don't recall the timeline, but could she have been pregnant when she ran off with Rhaegar? If so, is Jon now the true Baratheon heir, since he's older than

Yes, there's nothing gray about her, that was a surprising comment.

Yeah, Im surprised the writer thought she said Rhaegar. Doesn't make much sense.

I know, it's ridiculous. I am glad they started accelerating storylines by skipping travel. Feels like in the past, Yara and Theon getting to Mereen would have been a whole season's worth of travel scenes (like Tyrion getting to Mereen). I don't understand the hang up on Varys' travel.

Preach!

Thanks for the cross-post! Nothing like seconds on a shit sandwich.
