I dunno; there’s a lot of things you can do with a name like that: coaching a Southern university to the conference title, starring in folksy homemade TV commercials for your string of car dealerships... For sure, though, what you can’t be is ordinary.

There are some things you simply don’t do as a profit-making enterprise. Curating and restoring ancient oddball cars no one wants is one of them.

2nd Gear: It’s not just SUVs, but it’s also the greater prevalence of AWD... which adds weight and driveline friction. The comparatively crappy fuel economy is one of the reasons why I haven’t ever owned a Subaru.

5th: I’m always amazed by the huge swings of the pendulum our society has when it comes to how we view the tech industry. Am I the only one who remembers that in the ‘90's Bill Gates was considered a bad guy?

Who has their US to Canadian football field conversion chart?

we will do absolutely anything to avoid the metric system.

How many Miatas is it.

Man, it’s a shame this was hot rodded. I would have loved to see this in all its original glory. I love me a good ol hot rod but something like this is just a damn shame.

I mean, this thing looks awesome, but I kind of have to question the builder’s decision. If only 3 of these things were made, that makes this an incredibly rare vehicle that I think a solid argument could be made for keeping original.

I think you have serious rust issues if your ball drag curbs while driving.

For that price, does it come with a spare Suzuki Jimny for when the trail narrows to less than seven feet wide?

Not a non-white person or car in site.

Feels very “we put this in the spec so nobody can submit an existing design and we don’t run risk of not getting our own bespoke vehicle” to me.

356 was better for killing famous people

That is nice looking. Think I’ll try to recreate it to hang in the car hole.

Exactly! That’s the thing that women just don’t understand about men. When a man says he’s going to do something, he’s going to do it. You don’t have to remind him every year.

That’s a lot of money for a cop car.

Definite NP.  This may be heresay to some here, but I have no problem with a 2wd Jeep.  Here in Florida we have zero reason for 4WD, but it’s amazing how many people buy into the “need” for 4WD.

This was a situation where Tiger should have used a driver.

The main driver of synthetic fuel adoption should be the airline industry, which has no other option, and the freight industry, which would be looking at serious capacity problems with BEVs.
