*TwinPower Turbo

I’d buy one just so when people ask me what car I drive I can say an i4. Then they’d ask, “what’s an i4?” And I’d reply, “it’s for seeing, dummy!”

(It’s the weekend, what do you want from me?)

Interestingly enough, I just took my first old person defensive driving course and the instructor was very adamant that we just stop using the word “accident” entirely and call it what it is, a “crash”.

Wait, why is Nissan not #1 by a wide margin then?

Think they can fix the sagging headliner if I throw in an extra $100?

Definitely! Those are radials. They ride amazing.

Relatedly, I REALLY dig the Taycan’s design, but these wheels looks like shit.

Is an H3 really an upgrade?!

Pretty soon, people are going to be parking/abandoning/torching their cars because they can’t afford... to put TIRES.... on them.  Heaven help you if a wheel is bent.  This is a hidden cost on a lot of newer vehicles with upsized wheel options that get into the realm of ridiculousness.

Forget all that noise about ride quality, potholes, and changing tires. The real problem that will stop wheels from getting really, stupidly large is the effect those gigantic wheel wells have on interior space. Interior space is driving the trend for SUV/CUVs. As those wheels get bigger, so do the wheel wells. Front

Wow the Amish are really upgrading their carts!

I like my 15s.

Too bad Oprah is off the air. She could greet the crowd yelling “You get a Tire! You get a tire!YOU get a tire!” while carrying a pair of these.

So... The smartphone race, except for wheel size instead of screen size?

Wagon wheels next.

It would be interesting to find out what the real profit margins are on cars  - not just from the initial sale, but profits from parts/labor, etc. over the lifetime of the car.

Im among the small car fans. I hate driving a truck, or large suv it just feels like extra effort.

Wasn’t the issue with these small cars that there was no profit margin? If they can’t make money, damn the customer loyalty and go for the big bucks.
