And thanks for the link, but I'll just avoid it entirely like I said. :)

Yes, 3D has evolved since the '50s, but only slightly. There is not a huge difference, and it's still a gimmick that I will go out of my way to avoid. Avatar was the last movie I saw in 3D, and even then I was not impressed. I love my standard Blu-ray version though. The colors are more vibrant and it just generally

No. Definitely not. Avatar was the last movie I saw in 3D, and even then I thought it was crappy. It looks so much better on Blu-ray.

I really wanted to see Dredd, but unfortunately it was only showing in shitty ass 3D everywhere within reach. I wish to god that stupid gimmick from the '50s would just die already.

As an American expat, I am guilty of paying an importer £6 for a box of unfrosted strawberry. I don't even regret it. Yes, I have a problem.

Okay, let's be serious. Few core gamers give a crap about multi-platform games on the Wii or Wii U. I play on Nintendo platforms for the exclusive titles, and I'm happy to continue doing so. The way I see it, your argument still boils down to demanding better tech in the Wii U to future proof against Xbox 3 and PS4,

Nice one. Your tunnel vision should be commended. There are other directions in which to innovate instead of cramming a box full of bleeding edge tech. Do you really think Nintendo would succeed if they tried to out-tech the other console manufacturers? That's redundant, btw. I don't need to list the innovations

Ahh, right-o. Mielke was with Q Entertainment and worked on CoE so that threw me off.

Thanks for the heads up, Mike. I'm gonna try this out asap. And there's no shame in watching Voyager. It may be one of the weaker Treks, but it's still damned good sci-fi.

Me too, dude. Me too. *sigh*

Ha! Milky was just talking about your visit on Facebook and now this. Anyway, I loved Child of Eden, and I'm looking forward to what these guys can do on PC.

I agree that this game looks shockingly good. The more I see, the more excited I get—and I couldn't have cared less a year ago.

Umm. No. Nintendo innovates more than any other company in the industry.

This is a very distasteful joke. Just sayin'.

Hmm. I read conflicting information a long time ago saying they DID want Mario and Luigi, but Nintendo's licensing fees for the bros were way too high.

Oh, so you you've played it? Someone call the waaambulance already. And it's not a MGS game.

I'll never forget picking up Blue Stinger and Sonic Adventure on launch day. The Dreamcast blew me away from day one, and I still love mine to this day. "It's thinking."

Exactly this.

"8 is nothing like the games that released before and after it." Yeah, except it has the same producers, composer, writers, designers, ATB turn-based battles, world map, general feel, etc. etc.

1-9, and even 10 to an extent, followed a clear evolutionary path, with very similar core mechanics. Yes there were differences, but saying they're dissimilar is just plain wrong.
