Maybe. But previous consoles didn't nickel and dime me with day one DLC and the games were typically polished (i.e. not broken) on release.

I really wish they would set a Western release date. I've been holding off on getting back into MMOs for years because the games I'm eying are still stuck in the pipeline (PSO2, FFXIV & this).

Good luck trying to access your "collection" in the future when your games are spread across multiple accounts, you've replaced your PC/console/phone/whatever and your games were purchased from companies that no longer give a crap or no longer exist. Then we'll see how accessible things are.

I never said Halo was original, but I think there is a difference between its taking inspiration from (and paying homage to) classic sci-fi films and what Hybrid is doing—which by the looks of this screenshot it seems to be shamelessly ripping off the character designs of another game.

Seriously, right? Is the armored guy at right not a spartan and is that not also an elite? These devs could give Zynga a run for their money in the ripping-shit-off department.

I'll second this.

It's evolved a lot since the early years. In fact, it's on track for a new expansion this year. I don't play anymore, but think that's pretty good for a decade old game.
