I haven’t really been following this (I just referred to Tristan as “Travis”) but I’m surprised that no one else has something to say. It’s been up for 30 minutes.

It doesn’t have anything to do with your email or Twitter account. It’s just whether or not writers from whatever site you frequent have followed you.

If you ever go to the Midwest part of the United States, specifically Missouri, there’s restaurants called Crackle Barrel that serve all-you-can-eat biscuits and gravy and the gravy looks like that pictures.

The writers of whatever site (The Root, Deadspin, etc.) have to follow you themselves. You’ll get a notification saying “The Root is following you.”
Sometimes you can ask and they’ll do it although I haven’t seen any Root writer do that.

I don’t disagree with you but I doubt blue state would let that fly without some sort of retaliation (and not necessarily in a malicious sense.) Certainly not California; Gov. Brown is not here for 45's shit.

When The Root came to kinja, I was very busy with school and work and lurked way more than I would comment. It’s no biggie as I know enough people on here to get me ungreyed :)

I, for one, am very excited to see their faces they realize that Medicaid is welfare. Just like discovering that Obamacare is the dogwhistle name the GOP gave the ACA.  

I live out that way and will be working the entire event. I was hoping that it would stay cool, as it hasn’t been that hot for the time of year, but of course the damn-near triple digit weather started today.

I got a call last week from Toyota. They had sent me a forms but since I hadn’t updated my address and hadn’t responded, they wanted to make sure that I was aware of the settlement because I qualified
