I’ve read that a few times too but I think with so much shit that is about to happen and will be happening but I think we’ll see a good turn out across party lines. But like I said further down thread; hoping for record turnout, preparing for complacency.

To someone who is new to this, yes, but the person I replied to is not new around here.

Noble isn’t new. He’s been around for years. He knows better.

That’s what people used to be do on Gawker; get an approved account and then troll with it. I haven’t seen any commenters approved by request in a long while since Gawker died and, with a couple of exceptions, the Jez staff doesn’t really care about the commenters, so I doubt they’re approving trolls.

Maybe one of his old accounts was approved and that’s what he uses to get ungreyed but there’s no way his new troll accounts are immediately followed.

No, the troll made a few comments right after the article was published that were definitely in the greys. I know this because I saw them but ignored it. The only way he’s ungreyed is by someone who is followed replying to him and/or recommending his comments. If it seems like anytime he publishes a comment it’s

I don’t know who that is but I’m sure that was the case.

They seem to come out over holidays and the summer, which makes me think they’re teenagers and people in their early 20s.

Then you make a separate comment and keep him in the greys. This is not a brand new concept we’ve all done it for years.  AND if he actually is the long-time tomato troll, why in the hell would you feel that it’s necessary to respond? That makes even less sense.

I was like that too when I was newer to all this. The person that ungreyed him is definitely not new and should absolutely know better.

That’s why I said “obvious trolls.” Anyone could that read this person’s comments would have instantly known he’s a dipshit looking to ruffle some feathers and ignored him. Instead Noble decides to ungrey him for no discernable reason that I can see and give the troll what he wants: attention.

Is there a reason why this it’s so hard for some people to keep obvious trolls in the greys? If you don’t want a conversation derailed by trolls, don’t respond to them.

I hope that the GOP-controlled government’s horrible actions awake a sleeping giant across all parties so that it’s clear that the disdain and disgust is not a partisan issue. It’s really only going to get better if there’s unity in our resistance (I’m not counting Trump’s whackadoodle base.)

And I agree with you on that. Just don’t forget we can make some changes in a year BUT WE ALL NEED TO SHOW UP. I’m hoping that people show up in record numbers, preparing for complacency.

Fuck four years. EVERYONE NEEDS TO SHOW UP FOR MIDTERMS.

It sounds like even though you don’t fully understand some things, you’re making a conscious effort to be respectful to others. And that’s all people are asking for so I’m not sure why others find a problem with that.

I read this when it came out and I assumed that changes would have been made on Ronda’s part. It’s baffling that nothing happened.

I totally agree that she needed to get a different, better camp.

I’d agree but she has a massive ego. I’m assuming she wanted to win. Look what happened when Holm beat her.

I’d love to hear what her mom has to say about Rousey’s camp after this. I’m sure she has a few choice words.
