A mix of Brave New World and Farenheit 451

Nah, best episode of the season was Cary's trial, right before the holiday hiatus. That is, in my opinion.

"(Obviously, she should've hired Elsbeth.)"

I'd live for a Marissa-and-Eli-do-politics sitcom. Literally.

She DID mix two white guys - when she talked to someone thinking he was Sweeney and he wasn't. But she couldn't admit it because it would harm Sweeney's alibi.

What a glorious hour of television. Honestly, do we have something better going on TV right now? (Before someone pulls the Mad Men card, I think both shows are great and I try not to rank them. And I still don't get why TGW isn't as watched and talked about as MM.)

Undoubtedly an A.

Honestly, I think it's both. Nucky is being overtly racist to feed Narcisse's expectations of him, but he's not probably saying anything he doesn't already think to himself; he's just not hiding it behind his usual wall of politeness/condescension/patronizing.

Yeah. Y'know, for an episode so full of gravity, I think the best line came from Gillian during her wedding, and it sumarizes nicely one of the things I think is, at least unoficially, a theme for this show: "Why does a man get to do anything he wants?"

Yes. He was high on heroin and jumped at Gillian, yelling "I won't forget her". Then the Commodore jumped at him with a spear (!) and he killed the Commodore. Once Gillian scolded him to finish the job, ofc.

"And, honestly, for all of the faults Homeland has had in the post-“Q&A”
era, one can’t really fault it for the simple fact of shitty timing.
The fact that this episode is airing the same weekend as the one where
Iran has made historic concessions in its quest to build a nuclear
weapon is a corner the show boxed

It was not hypocrisy, it was delusion/defensiveness. She really thinks Peter wasn't "guilty" of cheating on Alicia (as Trumystique pointed out), just as her husband wasn't "guilty" of cheating on her — they were weak mens seduced by evil women who got the better of them. And she's also angry at Alicia because it was

I really think Alicia and Will will end up having hate-sex until the end of this season. Or at least hate-kissing. In an elevator. Which will not be hate-sex (or kissing) at all, because they're still into each other.

They could make a spin-off based on a supervillain law office with Nacy Crozier, Patty Nyholm, Louis Canning. Wendy Scott-Carr could be a client/consultant, and they could poach David Lee from LG. I'd watch that show =)

Actually… IIRC, she was *not* okay with the idea of Zach having sex, even if protected, so she confiscated his condom box and told him they would "talk again" when he (felt he) needed them again.

Alicia *kind of* left Will. Remember that by the end of the last season, they'd kissed twice and promised to "talk". Also, Veronica went to Will, begging for him to separate Alicia and Peter. Will still loves Alicia, and I think it's fair to assume he still hoped they could work some sort of relationship out. He feels
