There's just something about the general attitude toward Nintendo that reviewers haven't been able to rise above. So the Wii U isn't the cool system, we all get that, but FFs the Zelda, Metroid, and Super Mario franchises have all consistently delivered top notch games. Is it really that bad that they lack sex jokes

Haven't heard them yet but that's the exact vibe I got when I saw them on the cover of Exclaim. At least the if anything the Southern Ontario music press is consistent when they excited about the next bland thing.

They're going to make it darker which will make it seem more artistic. *eye roll*

Die Wet

At least it's one of the films that doesn't make the fool out of someone who doesn't believe in magic.

Zuul should be played by Grace Jones or Lady Gaga

Yes, but making everything darker and scarier with more swearing and nudity is getting cheaper by the second. Making it darker is modern society's version of putting a bird on it.

I remember watching it the first time as a dad and just thought it was an unnecessarily bad joke. Just like everything they will do in this new Ghostbusters to get from PG to PG13.

The ghost train scene in Ghostbusters 2 still gets me.

I have to disagree, A lot of the live Floyd stuff post Water's sounds stale without Rogers. Comfortably Numb is practically unlistenable. There is also nothing atypical about the main driver of a band not being the primary vocalist. Water's has no trouble admitting that he can't sing in the higher registers and

Well.. 90% if you discount every album but Dark Side of the Moon, Momentary Lapse, and Division Bell (the only albums Dave actually dominates). Dave had a more conventional and melodic style but most of his parts were fairly unassuming by design, and often backed by Rick. Roger always had more bite and growl in his

It's especially annoying when you just want to bring the damn thing home and listen to it.

Water is wet.

Not really. First album aside, they always used a studio musician on bass. The bass keyboard couldn't do the job.

Definitely The Doors. Barrett and Waters were both better lyricists than Morrison and when you get tired of hearing about DSOTM and The Wall you can think about Piper (a high water mark for psychedelic rock), Meddle, and Animals. The more I hear Morrison the less impressed I get.

I think we're in the exploitation phase of the vinyl come back. It's weird for me because I've been buying music from a record store that mostly sells records for about 15 years now. So, to me, vinyl has always been out there, it's just a lot more expensive now. The Raw Power records I own used to be $22, and now

There is some incredibly thin vinyl that was manufactured in the 80s. The last 10 years are also wrought with quality problems including holes not properly punched out and crap stuck to the playing surface.

A good opportunity to explain that sometimes free speech is about something you don't care about.

Nobody really gains from this. Maybe the hackers are getting some extra lulz from embarrassing Sony a little bit more, but really, nobody is really nobody is making cash register noises over this one.

It's a amazing that he was in his mid-twenties when he recorded "With a little help…" I always assumed he was already an elder statesman of the industry by time that song came about. The choice of backup vocals deserves special mention, they talk about it a bit in the movie "Twenty Feet from Stardom." The backup is a
