Well yeah, bad publicity always works. Because you can flip it quick if some people are being dicks. I didn't even hear about this game before their announcement. For being the first time hearing about the game (which i like games in that genre) it put a bad taste in my mouth personally. 

I don't personally want garbage apps on my computer. You are are missing the very basic reasons that people don't like it. I installed it once then gave it an uninstall because it was looking in a time machine. You sir should get over yourself as well, people have different opinions. 

The PlayStation one was weird because it was some patent nonsense and they were trying to be cheap. Consumers changed that shit too, ha. For Nintendo, that is still nonsense when some games don't even need it, haha. 

Other than the few people who were dicks, which there always is no matter what the subject but when the criticism has been fair and they still were hostile towards consumers. It isn’t a good look for sure. Why is it so hard to say “ We needed the money and Epic supplied it”. I don’t remember the same reaction to…

I am still trying to figure out when the national anthem was about troops. I thought it was for our nation. 

I don’t personally mind epic buying exclusives. But they are just trying to sell people on that and not what they personally have to offer. That’s why people are okay with uplay and origin now a days. They offered things that even Steam doesn’t have plus exclusive games.

I don’t see where I insulted anyone at any point. This is also about how people reacted negatively to the game and app. It’s a combination of them being dicks when announcing and Epic being the lowest tier app. Trying to point out (as you can see in the comments) the vast majority of people that are not fan of this…

It’s not about that. Most people don’t want to go back to the Nintendo GameCube era of features. At least reasonable people. 

It stems from their annocement putting down consumers. All those other apps you mentioned have cloud saves, chat, achievements and basically everything you come to love and except. It's like PS5 comes out without trophies and the ability to talk to your friends. Epic is behind times and they are new. 

Yeah, I would never insult them. Just debate with people at most, at least talk with my wallet. Only outerworlds is capable of me going to Epic because they were straight forward and a good company worth supporting. These guys did everything the complete opposite, haha. Don't see any nastiness other than people on Epics side, it's weird. 

It's not. Yeah some kids are being kids but its not because it downloading an "app". I have uplay, I'm pretty open. But uplay is a million times better than epics. Maybe their launcher would of looked good back in 2009. 

What about the people who don’t like the storefront for feature reasons and are against exclusivity. Also, did you see their announcement? It was condescending as fuck, are people supposed to be just glad for them? Haha. Most people don’t harass, as you know.

You have it wrong, it’s not downloading epic app. But you don’t seem interested otherwise.

They were being dicks about it when announced. A simple none condescending announcement would of been nice.  

I guess this is the only pirate or ship game you have ever played. 

The Madden into blows up my ears, I have the game turned down to 20 but the intro plays full blast until you get to the menu. BIG NUMBERS BIG NUMBERS.

What i read in the comments is that console is different, but the reviews I have seen about this game it isn't mentioned. But I do watch more PC oriented content, so might of been the case. Weird they would do it for consoles and not PC.
