I for one do. Publicizing that it's a good thing for women to stand up for themselves, and that they don't have to be passive and accept all the sexual harassment that is thrown at them, is a good thing. It helps women who see it, empower them to also stand up for themselves.

I can't decide which is the bigger step forward. An openly gay player in one of the big 4 sports, or the fact that society has advanced enough that all the bigots who would have called him a faggot or other such names are now reduced to getting ulcers holding in their anger and screaming at people to stop talking

Many guys have "played their way in" via 10-days to great success. All it takes is the right team, right time, right upcoming opponents (for instance a Bruce Bowen or Tayshaun Prince — only a handful of guys could guard Tracy McGrady or Kobe Bryant) or a hot hand (see: Jeremy Lin) and a marginal player suddenly

I love how a lot of Evangelicals complain that the media is shoving these homosexual stories down their throats. How about this, the media agrees not to shove these down your throats if you agree to stop shoving your religious beliefs down people's throats.

Mister Swackhammer returns to earth for revenge and steals Michael Jordans talent himself. Afterwards he looks to a television that just so happens to be playing ESPN First Take to see Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith arguing over the subheadline "Who Is Better? Lebron or Jordan?" During the argument Smith states

I'm going for the inevitable moment when Lebron leaves the Toons for the Monstars

I was hoping McLemore could win, so he could instagram a picture of his text apology to Wall, telling him he should've won.

Nice to see Jay Leno getting work so soon after leaving The Tonight Show.

Perhaps he was tired of Anderson Varejao getting all the "sideshow" recognition.

It's telling that after someone develops a Cavalier attitude, even Cleveland doesn't want them.

Dude, just because he's black doesn't mean he sells drugs for a living, get a grip racist.

+1 for the comment

"I don't want my grandkids raised in that kind of environment."

Texting his father the news was probably the second-best decision Sams made this week.

In related news, Michael Sam Sr. has been hired as an anonymous scout for an undisclosed NFL team.

To make matters even worse for Sam Sr., a Denny's waiter then showed up at his table with a plate of food.

On this 50th anniversary, let's not forget the Paul/George drunk reel.

That's just awful. An NBA court is no place for such a terrifying, doped-up looking Bird Man.
