No no it's the children who are wrong
How did they manage to use the name we liked and still make the title terrible?
Yeah I always appreciate a movie that plays within its own genre. The third Riddick is odd because the first part is fantastic and great but the second half is too familiar of the first movie. Like they were scared to be super original.
That's true. They're all great. Vin is just the most unique in an otherwise familiar sci fi characters not that they're bad. They're all awesome.
I fail to see how pitch black is dumb. It's simple maybe but the inclusion of riddick and the performance of diesel make it stand out from the rest of the aliens rip offs.
I hope so. Either way I'm excited
Yeah I know. I was kidding. The joke was that it's not really trying anything new so it looks like a rip off
You win
How can someone put faith into the 21 rip off baywatch and not to the alien ripoff … hmm alien? I'm seriously baffled
This is a bad movie tha could have at least been okay if not for the terrible lead actress
I think the main problem is how she never seen in a negative light. Also the weird way we're rooting for a white person to be able to steal books without consequence and be sad she might have to get a regular job rubs me the wrong way.
Is she supposed to be the worst? *checks who the story is based on.
I would rather see it in theaters first and wait long to see it on prime then not have that option at all. Like Netflix does
I kind of agree. I really liked the discovery but the whole time I was thinking "I wish I could have seen this in theaters" I mean amazon will give them theatrical runs. And that's how movies should be seen!
I think that was it. A lot of the humor seemed self referencial and too modern. The Star Wars films should go for timeless not this is what's popular now. I hope this next one course corrects but from the other two it doesn't look bright
I felt their quips were the worst part. It took away a lot of tension and made them all seem like Han Solo. They can't all be Han. I will say driver was the best cause at least he character seemed inspired by the original instead of trying to copy them
I want to be excited about them but I'm just not. They don't seem to have characters as much as character types and yeah the originals had that too but the actors made them feel fleshed out. Other than oscar Isaac these actors feel like video game voices filling in a role
Meh
Yeah if they worked together it would've been fine but since the new work literally causes the original work to be taken opposite of its intent it does seem like kind of a dick move.
