I mean even poison ivy is already playing with plants and Edward is already doing riddles. There are no arcs for these…

Yeah but I'm not talking about just dying. There is no tension there. If you watch die hard, we know John McClane isn't going to die but how he's going to solve the problem. Or for your example, we didn't care if Mulder died it was whether he solved each case.

I was actually kind of hoping for that. But the pilot wasn't great. I'll try to keep watching but may wait for netflix

Also the tension is not really there. We know he's not gonna turn bad, we know the penguin isn't going to die. It's hard to care and the characters aren't giving us enough

I didn't expect this to be so cheesy all the bullock Gordon scenes were over acted to the extreme. I want Gordon and bullock to be good but the writing is so not good. I'll give it a chance as I love me some batman but damn I didn't think it would be this bad

I think my favorite thing about this show is that it explores the idea that growing up is more than a checklist you fill out. You can't just get a job, get married and consider yourself an adult. It's more than that.

Yeah like I said I watched new girl and thought it was okay, but then mindy project had me laughing the whole time as their characters are least trying to grow. New girl is trying to rely on old jokes to limp across the finish line when mindy has danny strip teasing into our hearts

I think the mindy project makes me realize how not that good new girl is

Taco killed it with his last line. I agree with last seasons kind of meh season (highlights being the wedding toast and finale) this season seems a bit more grounded and better.

Fox is really banking that the word Mulaney is hilarious as the ad campaign consists of every characters just saying his name.
