Is there any way to get the contacts to synchronize over IMAP as well? I tried Gina's earlier post on using SyncKolab to do it, but it doesn't seem to work with GMail. Any ideas?

I use Google Page Creator for free webspace. I upload large pdfs and pictures there to offset the load on my [NearlyFreeSpeech.net] hosting - it's a perfect way of getting quality file hosting (instead of using those terrible, spam-ful file hosting sites that last for like a week).
Anyone know of a Vista sidebar gadget that can be used for RTM?
Yahoo Pipes can work for this type of thing as well.
I have a home server running Ubuntu Server that I use for private projects - it's currently only accessible through Hamachi. Oh, by the way, if you have a domain name already, you can set a DNS record for your Hamachi IP addresses and connect to your Hamachi computers through names rather than IP addresses as long as…
Found this article a while ago - it works perfect for my Linux home server. S3 charges me pennies a month. It's fantastic!
If there is an S-Video out port on my Vista laptop, is there anyway to reverse it and allow it to capture, or would I have to get a USB capture card?
Any way to do something like this with Putty?
I haven't gone so far as to make a domain yet for my newborn daughter (although I was considering it a couple days ago...weird).
Man, Mormon weddings are great (see post picture). Our wedding cost around $500 for everything, since we didn't have another $25,500 lying around. We had a great European honeymoon and started off our marriage with lots of money in the bank. Who really needs to spend all that for one day!?
If you use Dreamweaver for any web stuff, you can use WinMerge from inside Dreamweaver's file system window to compare files and folders on your remote server. You can set some option in the preferences that will use WinMerge by default for this. Cool stuff.
Sweet! I don't use one! I must be important!
Could this be used to strip a DVD of it's region? I've got some European Region 2 DVDs that I'd like in Region 1 with the menus and everything. What's the best way to do that?
These actually worked - my Vista has been acting up since I got it, bad memory management, non-responsiveness after every 4-5 hibernations—not fun. So far, it's been flying, so we'll see if it unhibernates like it should!
@ChickenSangwich@ChickenSangwich: That "super fast" Vista defrag isn't really working that fast. In fact, it's slower than the normal Vista way. It's been going for 2 hours already and isn't halfway done.
"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application"
I think this comes from the book by Robin Williams called "The Non Designer's Design Book" and it really does all work. Keeping these rules in mind can help you avoid going overboard and using every single font that comes with Word, and can also help you break out of the Times New Roman/Arial rut. Keeping these rules…
This is a long shot, but is there anything for Vista that does the same thing?
Yikes. I got a dismal 7.
Anything out there for Windows users?
