Very nice write-up thanks for this! Need all the GP action we can get in the off season, and there is plenty to look forward to.

Can’t see the forest for the trees? The problem wasn’t (and still isn’t) how fast we drive, it’s what we drive.
Many? Yikes. Fool me once...
The phrase “this is why we can’t have nice things” seems to sum up your thought. It truly is a shame.
Razor teamed up with Lenovo. Keeping that shit will be the focus, it’s what they do.
Yes - that is why it’s unfortunate.
The tiny running person is Clint, I think, by sheer virtue of carrying a long stck thing that looks like it might be a bow.
For all the “Tesla is awesome!” going around (guilty), I think it’s worth emphasizing that this recall impacts only ~90k vehicles.
Love that damn tire. I am a bit of a youth on my road bike, and I skid my last rear oblivion. Put on a Gatorskin and it takes to sliding around it like a champ.
For the most part, I am inclined to agree with your position here. However, there is one statement made which does not sit right:
Harper, on the other hand, was about rarely if ever saying anything for sure, and about absolving himself from the responsibility of decision making when he couldn’t.
That’s not even close to being relevant. Marquez could have run off onto the grass. He could have stopped his bike and walked to the pits. He could have done a number of different things.
Basic rider training is like a Free-to-play game.
If Rossi hadn’t run Marquez wide. That’s my argument.
I feel on equal footing, Rossi would have won, but the stewards got involved on top of the riders getting in the way(not in the racing sense). Had a very Senna/Prost/Balestre type of shit feel going on here. Very frustrating when the person you thought should win got screwed out of it.
With a bit more speed and his consistency, and without what happened at Sepang, he would have arrived in Valencia with a clear advantage and he would have won the title easily.
Dogs literally eat their own shit.
Oh, come on! Tell me what Lorenzo did that is so damn deplorable.
See, that seems to be the ONLY thing which has a unanimous opinion. Rossi intentionally ran the bike wide. He said as much himself. He put the bike there, Marquez could only respond.
Consider the proximity of these two, and how Marquez was leaning into Rossi. A foot has far more dexterity thank a shoulder or elbow (which are the limbs a brake guard primarily has to stand up to). Knowing full well that Rossi’s leg/foot came off his peg, it is not a stretch to believe it could have made contact with…
