I’m in complete agreement with you. All we’re doing here is appealing to the lowest common denominator, lowering the bar. Screw that. Let’s raise the standard for what is expected of people. The reality is that the same incompetent jerks running this show are also people like you and I. They drive on the same roads

This sounds like a great idea - but what do you do about one-way streets? Once you have to detour from the arrow’s direction, you’re just hoping the street you turn down next can bring you back on course.

It would be a shame to trash so many H2’s like that.

My sentiments exactly. Yamaha took their GP tech and stuck it in the new R1, with the R1M being a monster. Motorcycles have been getting faster not through HP, but through electronics. I’m sure this RVC has just as much GP inspired tech, but it is WAY too expensive to justify its own existence.

Hell yes.

Yeah, it’s a quick shifter. Just kick into next gear and the ECU does all the work cutting fuel for the instant change. Don’t have to change throttle input at all. Makes for much more stable changes when cranked over and/or coming out of a corner - much like in the video.

For anyone interested in watching something right here and now, check out TT3D: Closer to the Edge. It chronicles the 2010 TT in all of its gloom and glory.

I haven’t confirm this, but I am assuming the guy who cut/posted the second video was the rider himself. Note the first person comment he overlays on the video, when he mentions he “rev bombs” to protect himself. Assuming this is true, he would have left in all revelant events to justify his reaction.

Look at that gap! It’s huge!

I think the political references you made were a bit polarizing and heavy-handed. Since many people don’t actually agree with abortion or gay marriage for reasons they’d say supersede personal freedom, they’re maybe not the best way to make your point

I wear a helmet because I understand it can prevent serious injury or death in the event of an accident. I wear seat belts for the same reason. But if someone wants to ride around with the wind in their hair, I say let them have at it. It’s their loss.

Long term feasibility? The IOM TT races have been taking place every year for over the last 100 (that’s a century) years. This race is bigger and older than every single one of us. The entire island lives for this race. And from an economic standpoint, it brings in a tremendous amount of tourism for the two weeks the

I... I agree with you. That’s my point exactly. Live and let die.

I am demonstrating that your opinion on the matter is inconsequential to the people whom are actually participating in the event, as is the case with those opposed to abortion and gay marriage. They race, they may die, but they know that - what’s it to you?

Next you’re going to tell me that woman shouldn’t have the right to choose abortion over birth, or that same sex marriage should not be legal.

Okay, I believe the interpretation of the Bill needs to be addressed, because it reads far more sensibly in the original, sourced text.

These roads (and just about all roads, for that matter) were designed for cars. That politicians default to “slower cars” for safer pedestrians compeltely misses that point. This isn’t a “fast-car” problem, it’s a “dumb-pedestrian” problem. Unless the hooligans doing 30-35mph are doing it on the sidewalk.

Now let me make this abundantly clear up front: People need to learn how to parallel park. It’s something you must do to survive in this world. But there’s absolutely no reason it should be tested by the DMV.

The noise, the smell, the feel... That’s what makes riding a motorcycle worthwhile. It’s a sensory experience.

and some drivers can’t even manage to make a turn into the correct lane.
