It's a new cutscene but they've said they added them as a bridge to Halo 5. This won't actually be in Halo 5.

That's a great way of putting it. Also the fact that Stan Lee is still alive helps. I mean it's kept him in the public eye. And with Ditko being all about privacy, he's really the only face out there.
