I’m a Jeep fan but I have to say, I agree with the Fish Guy. It’s incredibly disrespectful to the environment and an ad like that really encourages bad behavior on the part of Jeep owners. Hunters and fishermen, who make up a large segment of the Jeep market, are (or should be) great stewards of the environment. Jeep

I’d like to believe that the deceased, having generously willed their bodies for the purposes of scientific research and education, would be okay with a couple of selfies.

I disagree. The problem with our justice system is, and always has been, that it takes crimes that were committed against someone, i.e., these girls and their parents, and turns it isnto crimes against the state, i.e, Michigan Vs. Larry Nasser.

I watched the clip and it quite honestly brought tears to my eyes. His horror and rage and frustration was so damn raw. I just can’t even imagine how he feels.

So $2600+$854 for depreciation and interest on loan equals $3454. That means you had reliable transportation (a necessity for your job aka your income) for four years at $863/year. I’m ignoring maintenance and insurance, because those costs have nothing to do with the loan. Also, buying used means you saved money on

I ordered 9 things on amazon this weekend and i hope my city wins the amazon 2nd HQ. The biggest employer here pays no local property tax and was incentivized to build here. Then it brought 20k professional jobs to the area. This town has gone through a massive boom because of them and its a great city.

Thats kinda how I see it (mostly, see my reply in this thread which I wont copy paste here). When I bought my trailer it had speed limited bias ply and I stuck to that speed like a fanatic even if it meant going 10 under the limit on the freeway (hey, at least it helped my gas mileage). People pay so little attention

So we’ve defined “pretty rich” as having 100k...

This is an uninformed comment. In Texas, if you don’t speed on an interstate and there are cars within view, you’re an idiot. Your ass will get run over. Many metropolitan areas I’ve driven in are similar.

This is some 1%’er bullshit and I’m ashamed of you.

Driving around in a fucking Maybach, Trim-shaming someone’s V6 Camaro and cheering when they are shut-down by the man while chasing their dreams of speed?

It may not just to be to comment on the depreciation, but to say that you can now get a 400+ (from the factory) Mustang in great shape for less than half the cost of a new one.

When the 400+ horse factory Mustang came out in 2012, 7 years prior it was a 300hp 3v motor for 2005, you’d take a 112hp hit to go used (stock).

I build shit only because I can’t afford to cut a check. Trust me... There have been many times that I would rather just cut a check.

The Alice in Chains Unplugged is one of the best recordings from the Grunge era, acoustic or otherwise, period. You can hear Layne Staley actually dying from his addiction. Every time I put this CD in, there’s this feeling in my gut I can’t describe as anything but a dark pit of despair that’s being transferred. I’ve

My dad taught me a lot of lessons as a kid, but the one that really stuck was “hide the evidence.” If you’re going to go out and eat unhealthy delicious foods:

It’s like people from Chicago. Every time I meet one they tell me how awesome Chicago is, but they’re always living somewhere else when I meet them. 😳

In high school, a bunch of my friends went through a Jeep phase. They bought some real crusty piles. They were always trying to convince me I should by one too, because Jeeps are so tough. Not coincidentally, we were always fixing those POS’s as they were telling me this.

Why is it that every friend I have with a 4.0 Jeep has the exact same two things to say. “The 4.0L is invincible, never breaks ever, good for a million miles, unlike <insert other motor here>” and “Can I borrow your hoist so I can pull my motor?”
