We have a saving account, where we keep enough to live for 6 months with no income, but even that doesn’t feel like enough.

Thanks! We want it to be a legacy name, so the next boat will be “Nauti Pickle II” and so on.
She’s slow for sure, but it’s better than being on land. We got out for the first time this last weekend. Can’t wait for summer!
It’s our boat’s mascot! Our last name is Pickle, so our boat is “The Nauti Pickle”
Here she is.
Very cool! We have a toddler, so we’re living the pontoon life right now, but I already have approval from the boss to get something with twins when he’s a bit older.
I get pulled over nearly every time we’re out for a “safety inspection”. Bright green pontoon with a naughty sailor pickle on it draws a lot of attention I guess.
Very cool! What boat?
What boat did you end up with? The 4.3 in my dad’s Monterrey gave up last year, and we’re considering the 5.7 swap.
DO YOU WANT SKYNET BECAUSE THIS IS HOW YOU GET SKYNET
We have a safe in the basement with the most of them. Biometric safe mounted to the bed frame that holds one handgun. I feel good about storing them that way, especially with a toddler in the house.
I typically average 16-17 mixed driving, which is what he said he got with his. Your connect isn’t gonna tow my 24' boat. I’ll deal with the mpg hit.
I would if Ford still made one that seats 8 people! Unfortunately they stopped building those in 2005.
My boat is over 3,500 without any fluids in it, and off the trailer. We plan on going bigger next year.
Expedition is on a factory equivalent tire.
Also this. Insurance will be significantly more on the new vehicles, as will registration costs, taxes, etc. The fuel savings alone is only a piece of the picture.
Daily Driven, and about $325. $60ish a fillup, once a week.
So much this. My Expedition burns a ton of gas, but it’s the perfect vehicle for my family’s needs, and it’s payed for. $500+ a month truck payments on a newer, more efficient one buys A LOT of gas for both the Expedition and the boat.
That minivan isn’t going to pull my boat. That minivan isn’t getting me out of the 10" deep mud on the post snow melt hunting road we were on a few weeks ago. Expedition handled all of those just fine.
I am in the midwest, regularly tow a boat, and hunt. I need the capacity and 4x4. NYC it wouldn’t make much sense.
So you get the fuel economy of my Expedition, with none of the capability. Wow.
Sold my Boeing the second it started to slide. Still made a good amount from when I got it in December. Guess we’ll see what tomorrow brings. Not optimistic with the looming shutdown.
