That’s what I’ve heard as well. The rate hasn’t necessarily changed, we’ve just come a long way in identification.

I’ll give him the benefit of doubt on that. The car appears to be on tire, so it could actually be pretty fast. I’ve been burned by ratty looking fox bodies before. Parts for those are cheap, and it doesn’t take a lot to wake up those Windsor motors.
All of them, I assume.
I think it is :(

I don’t think he’s smart enough to know the difference.
More gems from Willis!
This one was posted in a Mustang group last night. I don’t think Willis realized it was a joke. It’s even funnier if you read his comments in the voice of the “THEY TOOK OUR JERBS” guy.
I think one of their Aventadors is over 2000 for sure.
You can tell when my Expedition is due for an oil change just by listening. Right around the 3-3500 mile mark, lifter noise starts getting a little loud. My parents F-150 is the same way, and it’s still kicking at 280k.
That’s an awesome story! Do you have a boat out there, or just ride along?
That’s awesome man!! Where are you planning on staying? We usually rent a place off of MM5 on the Gravois Arm.
Yup haha.
Right, but that boat is also 2.5 times longer and wider, probably weighs 7 times more than my boat, and has twice as many engines, with three times the displacement per engine.
No kidding. You think they could have at least sprung for the 1650s if you’re going all out.
Yup! They had their 42' at the Overland Park Boat Show, as well as a 48' cat. They also had posters for this monster 57' CC that I believe is still under construction.
Yup. Nortech has been hitting triple digit speeds with their CC boats for a while now.
That’s not bad for a boat really, especially that big with that kind of power. I have a little 18.75 open bow ski boat with a 3.0 OMC, and I’m lucky to get 4 mpgs.
Love getting to see the CMS MTI boats whenever I’m down at Lake of the Ozarks. Those things are monsters. Have you ever been to the shootout?
Their big ones (the 1350 and 1650) are a Mercury original design. DOHC twin turbo 9.0 liter V8s. Insane.
