I currently daily a Ford Expedtion. It's absurdly comfortable, rides pretty well since it has IRS, has heated and cooled seats, a killer sound system, and the only people who cut me off on I-35 are semis. I dig it.

Unfortunately, most of them can't pull a boat or a camper. Or fit 7 full size adults comfortably. I get the appeal for sure. There are just plenty of things that a BOF SUV or Truck can do that a car based wagon can't.

I enjoy my SUV. It's the most practical vehicle for my needs at the moment. I also love sleeping in an open pickup bed on gorgeous summer nights. Different strokes, I guess.

I'm gonna go against the LSX swap grain, and suggest a 4 valve ford. Clearance shouldn't be too much of an issue, as it already has a DOHC V8.
