I had a Bandit 600 for my first bike. It got great gas mileage, and had enough power to have fun with without getting out of hand.

My buddy has one I've driven a couple of times, and at 6'2" it sucks.

There are dealerships selling base model 2014 Mustang GTs for 24ish k brand new. You can't beat that performance for $$$.

If they had just used a 4 valve 4.6 instead of the stupid Jag 3.9 this thing would have been decent.
