There’s something about the squeaky clean UI that feels very out of place for a game that’s supposed to take place during WWI. Maybe it’s the typeface – Futura is old, but wasn’t designed until 1927, and still looks timelessly “modern”. I’d expect a WWI game to be more of a period piece.

Doom 64 is, mostly, an entirely different game from the PC version, with a different atmosphere. The levels are new, the graphics are new, the sound effects are recycled from the PS/Saturn ports of Doom and are thus of a higher fidelity than the ones found in the PC version.
