Can’t speak for Apple, but Google absolutely allows Amazon Prime on its devices - it’s an open source receiver. It’s been Amazon who has refused to allow Chromcast compatibility on its app. Heck, when people developed apps that would allow Chromecast to pick up Amazon Prime, Amazon put a stop to it.

I’m not sure how Chromecast doesn’t support Prime Video. It’s up to the application vendor to implement support for Chromecast.

You don’t understand how Chromecast works then. Chrome cast is a reciever its up to the publisher of the content to interface with the reciever, not the other way around. #EducateYourself
