Welcome to the club. I had a USB C dock for my work laptop already and it’s been great with the Deck. I’ve been playing a new indie game that doesn’t have a steam deck verified/playable/unsupported label as of yet and it’s been working great! I’ve also played just a bit of Elden Ring on it and it’s been great.

My mom’s always made either plain oatmeal cookies or oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Its a perfect way to avoid the false expectation that many people fall into with the raisin variety.

I have Spectrum for my internet as it’s currently the only offering at my house that is faster than 50Mbps. That being said, I’m supposed to have another option by the end of the year. At that time, Spectrum can take a flying leap. One of their installers disconnected my house when they were connecting a neighbors

I think you might be on to something here. A year on Mars takes 687 days, maybe, just maybe that’s what Elon is using. I mean it doesn’t take care of the “issue” of full self driving being a year away since around 2014, but it’s better than a standard Earth year.

The only people from my high school time that I want to see again are former co-workers from my job at that time.  I don’t give two craps about highschool.  My graduating class was over 400 people and I have a very good memory of watching people walk across the stage and thinking, “I’ve never seen that person

I guess the future of my gaming doesn't involve any new games from Sega.

Counter point, the cookies are wonderful just the way they are. I love a good cookie and honestly, I’d rather have a large cookie than have a dessert most places. Crumbl just opened in my area and I’ve only enjoyed it once so far, but we just cut them in half as others have mentioned and then had the ability to enjoy

Nope, but I’d also not go to an Applebees to begin with. The last time I was there was roughly seven years ago. It’s never been overly good food and I had paid more than I found it to be worth.

Just a heads up that the link to the Anker USB C hub shows a sorry we couldn’t find that page.

I have a few that are very similar to this that Nintendo gave out at E3 in the early 2000's for the game boy.

This is exactly where I was at for GotG. I saw the mediocre grind fest that The Avengers came out to be and wrote this one off. Then it came out and people liked it. That sparked me to pick it up during black friday online sales.

My kids love Pirates Booty, but I rarely buy it.  I picked up a bag at Target on a recent trip and did a double take when checking out and seeing the price come up over $7.  I told them to enjoy it as we aren’t buying that anymore (unless there’s a special occasion and it’s a special treat).  I also won’t buy normal

It’s completely random, but my hometown has two Dairy Queens that sell popcorn.  It’s fantastic and stems from the original owner’s family recipe for popcorn oil.  People even buy it to ship to family/friends that have moved away.  Other than that I can’t think of any food too unique to the area, close by we have

This is kind of along the lines of a pacemaker, but my dad has a Spinal Cord Stimulator which uses electrical impulses to mask pain signals that get sent from his back and legs. He’s had it since around 2003 or 2004 and actually had it fully replaced in 2020. His new one has a rechargeable battery implanted and he has

I just wanted to say thank you for this. I heard it in her voice as I read it.

Maybe they could even have exclusive drops when you purchase through different wallet providers too! It would be just like buying games at different retailers for the exclusive DLC.

Quickly followed up by NFT Loot Box Season Pass - NFT of the Year edition.

This isn’t even the first time it’s happened in the area. Last year it happened just a bit north east of Green Bay with 66 people. I have no desire to go out on the ice and things like this just reinforce my land loving position.

I know I’ve seen these at least a handful of times, but you’re right that the arrows on lugs are more common to see.  As for the running theory here that it may be more of a cold climate thing, I can confirm that I live in a very cold area of the continental US.

These types of things make no sense to me at all. I live in a state that does HEAVY drinking and I’m an outcast as I only have a drink once or twice a month at most. Let people that don’t have a problem enjoy what they like in life.
