I was a very sensitive kid and the youngest of my siblings. I cried a LOT growing up. I was constantly told I was crybaby by my older siblings and eventually my parents. By the time I was in middle school and high school I learned to hide any emotions I was having rather than talk to them or have discussions out of

Yes please someone check on Chrishell! She seems like the sweetest person and her ex seems like such a dick. His quote at the end of that article really rubbed me the wrong way, Just ugh.

I agree. I tried so many times in my 20's to have the confidence and sense of self to break away from my toxic family. Or even set effective boundaries. Like Harry says, I wanted to so damn bad. But it wasnt until my 30's that I was able to put my foot down with them and step away. To put boundaries into effect and

One of ex-friends is like this. Whenever something is popular- even if it really deserves to be popular because it is good like Knives Out - she would either “hate it” to be a contrarian or refuse to watch it/engage with it out of stubbornness. But then like 5 years later she would proclaim how amazing said thing was

Solid burn. So many stars.

Im invested in five Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ethereum classic, Litecoin, and Dogecoin. Im letting my initial investments in litecoin and classic just sit, but I put regular (small) recurring investments into bitcoin, ethereum and dogecoin. So far  Ethereum is doing very well of the three.

I (very) briefly dated a veteran. He was at the time we dated 35 and had spent 9 years in the Army. Like John, he refused to go to therapy and it was painfully obvious. how much he needed it. Not only to cope with what he had been through but to just have a toolset on how to live life outside of the army. His moods

My phone hasnt been turned off vibrate mode in at least 5 years if not longer. The only person I know who actually has it turned on for sound notifications is my dad.

I had Kirsten when she was first released. My grandparents bought her for me as a birthday present and I LOVED HER. I didn’t keep her in display condition and played with her immediately. I was too young to understand “collectibles” at the time. Then one day I cut her hair and all was lost.

Yes exactly. I work in technology commercialization for research universities and one of our biggest funding partners is the Gates Foundation. They give millions to world/life changing research at my university every year. The Gates Foundation does so much good.

Yes! I really adore him after seeing him as Laurie.

Re: veronica mars.

My therapist used to say this to me and it never stuck (my mother is an addict it was always hard to say no to her.) BUT then one day he said to me “unconditional love does not mean unconditional access” and THAT was a lifechanger. That was the one line of advice that changed my life. Using that I was able to finally

I got to have a one hour play date river otters that looked just like those a few years ago in Seattle for my birthday. They are just as soft as you think they are. The one thing the handlers told me was not to touch their faces because they would bite but I couldnt help my self because I had to know if their noses

I hope so too! I am happy to say that I am in a MUCH better place than I was this time last year thankfully. But I do hope things continue for vaccinated people as well! In my state they have really relaxed restrictions (whether that is for the best or not is up for debate) but at least we can go out and eat on a

YES. Ive been having a really hard time explaining this feeling to people. I live alone and really struggled at the beginning of the pandemic (even had a depression breakdown where I didnt leave my couch for over a month). And now that Im vaccinated, seeing friends more, and I’ve even started dating a REALLY great guy

I literally never use the tapback function when texting with Androids. I know they are android texters cause their messages are green and I know that it doesnt show up on their phone the same way. So I just refrain from doing it. Some iPhone users just have it in muscle memory and use the function then can’t take it

I ended up watering with a hydrogen peroxide/ water mixture for several weeks and I bought a Katchy (https://www.katchybug.com/ ) which ended up working great.

Id argue that it is your house too why should she have to ask? Do you not feel inclined to clean up after yourself? Women shouldnt have to ask men to clean up in the house they also live. We dont need to be asked to clean up.
