Her half-sister is gonna be so pissed off about this.

I live by myself in a tiny cabin on the edge of a national forest where my dog and I often go hiking . . . This story scared me so much that I almost couldn’t finish reading it. I don’t know how I’m going to sleep tonight.

I know. That’s patriarchy for you, the devil just offers you new lips for your eternal soul and you don’t even negotiate. Come on ladies! Know your worth!

I always know I’m dreaming when I see/talk to people, but they do seem extra vivid and they give me info. In one shortly after my dad died, he took me into his and my mom’s walk in closet and pointed to a sort of cubby hole in the ceiling corner above where his shirts hung. The next day I went to look and there was no

Oh my GOD you need to write this up for The New Yorker or something!

I tried submitting this last year, and because I was super late- it got lost in the greys and maybe 6 people saw it. So here it is again, with updates as many things have changed since I last wrote this story.

My house is in a heavily forested area and relatively remote. It’s a place where people might take a camping trip into the forest for the weekend and then freshen up and have brunch in town on Sunday.

Hi Frida,

Medium creepy story, but very affecting part of my life...

I live in an old farmhouse in New England that has been in my family for 7 generations. My husband and I moved in in 1984, and we had our daughter the following year. The following weird stuff has happened in this house:

A wrinkle in time!

Aw, it’s nice your mom thought that. I would think he’s a murderer coming to kill my whole family in our sleep, but that’s the pessimist in me.

This brought tears to my eyes. What a wonderful moment to share together.

I finally found this thread early early enough to *maybe* not be totally buried! The most intensely creepy thing that’s ever happened to me is also the most oddly beautiful.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Maybe this will be the year someone will top “Look at Me”.

Your time will come, don't worry, you're not too far behind us

I had just broken up with my bf who my friends couldn’t stand. They browbeat me into going on a double date with friend, her bf and his newish roommate so that I wouldn’t be tempted to get back together with bf.
