Some of my favorite arguments have started out by me saying how I think Starcraft is a sport. I actually watched one guy argue himself out of thinking that NASCAR was a sport just so that he could say that Starcraft absolutely was not a sport either.

What I find interesting is how it would be more like modern fashion if she were actually more masculine (e.g. lost or seriously toned down the earrings, shaved the sides of her hair closer, traded the blouse for a more typical men’s dress shirt, lost the pleats, etc.)

It’s an action game with some RPG-like strategy. Do you have the same complaint over people who still play Counter-Strike?

It’s an action game. It’s fun to play from a mechanical perspective. That is replayability but it’s not for everyone and it’s not based in grinding.

No more than they absorb the lessons of what they’re taught now. Fact of the matter is that people grow up how they grow up and different influences have different effects. Human beings have a remarkable capacity to dissociate and compartmentalize; you should have more faith in us as a species.
