How else to drive home the fact that the boss was completely thoughtless? This show is not really strong on subtlety.

Cliff Clavin never made me cry.
As much as I love this show and cry through every episode because I have come to love all of the characters so quickly, there are a few things really bothering me.
1) Why did Randall not once ask what happened to his birth mother?! Is she dead? Is she strung out in some crack house somewhere or does Randall have 4…
Denis O'hare's character said they said their goodbyes privately which, to me was more the point of contention rather than the cat. But whatever. I'm sure William asked him to take care of the cat. I wish for all of you so hung up on the cat that he would have been petting him while he was talking to Randall on the…
I think Randall's boss is just thoughtless and self absorbed. He didn't send the pears. No doubt his assistant came in, informed him that Randall's father passed away and asked if they should send something. They probably have an account somewhere and it was thoughtlessly sent. When Randall showed up there there was…
He left The Manny feeling completely empty, maybe he didn't realize the real reason he was headed to New York was for Sophie when he did it. It's a stretch, but it's plausible.
I totally agree with you. It also made the gift of the pears with the non personal note even more a punch in the gut that the mailman came to the door to pay his respects but his boss who owes him his business didn't have the decency to even have a hand in sending a condolence gift and personally signing the card,…
Actually, what many would think is the right thing to do, and what would be writers gold would be to have the baby and give it up for adoption.
I think it was both.
Speaking of which…the scene in which Marnie is having a convo with Ray post-sex with a paper towel wadded up as a spooge-catcher was pretty brow raising….
Not harsh enough.
I wanted to strangle him with one of the holes in his sweater.
Friend, you seriously need to watch. Although his appearances are woefully few and far between, his bitchy one liners and the scene where he is only clad from the waist up more than make up for anything else you might object to about the show.
The hot doctor has screwed Hannah in the past, so I don't think he feels the need to maintain a professional appearance, but it was unrealistic to know she is a hot mess and assume she knows she's pregnant, and for being all touchy feely when their weekend together was so weird.
Yup! He was definitely coming at her from the back door.
Which is really saying something, considering how much plastic surgery it looks like she's had.
She seemed a little seductive when she mentioned about how her mom is about the drama but she isn't. But maybe that was just the way he took it?
I saw that too. Probably why he was super supportive about her leaving.
Maybe Perry should consider getting a colonoscopy, lol.
Hmmmm…maybe admit that he choked her and that he's afraid that his violence and jealousy are going to break up his family?
