Honestly, if you’re interested in the Agatha Christie stories about Poirot, then you’re better off watching the ITV series Poirot with David Suchet. He played the character in 70 episodes for over two decades, and nobody has played Poirot better.

“The Greatest Showman” doesn’t fit here at all - in your own description you said it was highly-fictionalized. This film was not written to be a “biopic” and never advertised itself as such that I recall.

The Doors by Oliver Stone is another. The remaining members of the band hated the movie, but loved Val’s performance.

I still think it would have been awesome to end the movie with the hospital explosion. I’m not sure how the sequel would have gone, but it would be a very Empire Strikes Back kinda thing to do.

Someone was pointing out that the system is a good idea but... it’s also on a sand bar so this should be interesting to see how erosion kicks in with repeated use.

The question is, do they get this HD release right this time?  It was one of the first shows to embrace filming in wide aspect in its day.  And while the last remaster was sharp-ish, it was also pan and scan.  Is it possible we’ll get to see the whole thing in its proper full screen aspect ratio now?  If so, I might

Go ahead, eat each other’s young.  Destroy each other.  The world will be a better place.

No matter who wins, we lose.

I would rather they do something more effective.

I’m looking forward to the forth coming Republican civil wa - er, I mean primary.

Two morons with enormous egos, near equal pettiness, and fragility that would make an egg blush will be so much fun to watch. I just hope the Ds just step back and let the R circular firing squads do what they will.

Re. Ahsoka, that’s ... disappointing. I had wondered whether someone like myself, who hasn’t watched the cartoons at all, would be lost at sea with this new series. If indeed it’s not throwing any bones to newbies & casuals, it might be another case of a Disney+ show failing to garner an audience. Not that Eckstein is

This is why I appreciate Christopher Nolan’s movies so much, even when they’re deeply flawed in some way. People can call him pretentious all they want for making confusing blockbusters, but three years later Tenet still occupies a comfy seat in my mind, while Liam Neeson keeps pumping out movies that can be forgotten

Well, see, that’s the beauty of it, right? If the system identifies and targets you, why, you’re already guilty. The only work left to do is figure out what you’re guilty of.

So if you’re there on your own to just sign autographs and Be Yourself, that’s allowed. If you’re there on a panel or to promote a struck project, that’s not allowed. SAG AFTRA is allowing the former, but is lightly discouraging it. The rules are.... tricky, but anything thats explicit project promotion isn’t allowed

And only that one time, to the exclusion of the other time the accuser alleges. And if the accuser remembers wrong about what event he was driving Spacey to, why he probably remembers wrong how forcefully Spacey grabbed the accuser’s junk and whether he asked Spacey to do so. </s>

Jesus wouldn’t SCAB.

My theory: the strike is intended to slow down/stop all forward movement for the Chosen series as well as the Resurrection movies

Wrapped season 14? That’s cool Russell; when do the specials that wrapped over a year ago going to start coming out?
