That fact that an ideology is weird, and not yours, isn’t really a reason not to criticize it.

They are republicans. Both the Pauls are republicans. They are libertarianish, but you only ever hear about them because they won, and therefore, they can actually make noise in Washington, score TV appearances, sell books, etc. They only won because they are republicans. Why is this so hard to understand?

Most progressives are against the USA’s use of hell-fire missiles to kill “enemy combatants” in area populated with civilians. But they still generally support a president who does just that.
