It’s all good. Indiana still sucks. :)

It was actually Montana, I misread. Adjust your future travel plans accordingly.

You assume a competence on the part of counsel that may well not have been present, I think.

I remember the original allegations. Something about some rich ephebophile sleazebag who liked to throw parties and made sure there were underage girls there, and this girl was one of them. And Trump was at one of the parties and he got the girl alone and raped her. And the party host was enraged that she lost her

I don’t find reporting on the existence of this case irresponsible, especially the careful way it’s being done here.

THIS * 1000. I’m ready to read fewer articles (everywhere, not here specifically) that say “women should” and more that say “men should” when it comes to this problem.

I think you could pull it off without telling your colleagues it’s about sexism. Just talk about how important it is to support and credit people who have good ideas. It's good for workplace morale, and being able to recognize and credit a good idea is leadership behavior.

Let’s put things in perspective:

It barely even matters at this point. I don’t like Hillary, she’s not the candidate I’d have chosen and I think she’ll be a mediocre president but the fact that she isn’t polling at 80-90% has already deeply shaken my faith in this country. Obviously the ramifications of a Trump victory are still so scary that I want

Even if the leader says it, the problem is that it’s unconscious. Men don’t hear women much of the time. Or they hear them enough to parrot back their ideas, but they very often don’t realize they’ve stolen those ideas. It’s a pretty amazing phenomena. Whole roomfuls of men do it all day long every day. It would be

As a man, I have a great idea.
If women would like to be heard more in the workplace, when one woman makes a point, the other women in the room should reiterate the idea and credit the initial speaker.

It also makes me want to scream “TEACH MEN TO NOT BE SUCH FUCKWADS” I shouldn’t have to call the power of the sisterhood to get credit for my work. It makes me angry.

A GREAT POINT MADE BY MY COLLEAGUE STASSA and furthermore LET’S ALL LISTEN TO WHAT STASSA JUST SAID

Yeah, unfortunately the root cause — men not listening to the first woman who said this and giving her credit because they don’t see women’s voices as legitimate as their own, whether through unconscious bias or not — is still there. I think this is great but what works best is a leader saying “This is going on and

I kind of hate this tbh. I mean the outcome is great but it’s so damn depressing women needed to do this. And what if you work with women who don’t think sexism in the workplace is a thing?

I hope so. Pneumonia already makes you feel like something is pressing against your lungs, so wearing Kevlar must feel like torture.

Exactly. It’s the same person you basketful of assholes, but without a bullet proof vest under her clothes, which she has to wear because you fuckers are insane!

I wore a different shade of lipstick to a meeting and my boss thought I’d had my lips done. I feel ya.

Can’t wait to hear about Trump’s personal health regimen. If him talking to “Dr.” Oz is anything like when I talk to my doctor, he’ll talk about how he has a drink with dinner maybe 2-3 nights per week, exercises regularly, eats healthy, flosses daily, and gets 7-9 hours of uninterrupted sleep every night.

Two Hillarys are better than one!
