I loved this game’s campaign. My favorite FPS campaign of the year, and possibly my favorite since Reach. A lot of FPS games could learn from that opening level and how the tutorial was seemlessly integrated into the early combat. And then there’s the marine tossing the exposition-y monitor to the side mid-sentence,

The sad thing is, I can only think of how annoyed anyone I know would be if I got them a scarf for Christmas.

Just imagine if this was a guy commenting on Tracer’s VA... You would be losing your shit, haha. #doublestandard

Ya but that requires thought and actually looking at the situation, it’s much easier if we all just get outraged.

I don’t think a developer/publisher has ever been more scared about a ten year old game outselling their big new AAA release. It’s the only reason it’s not sold separately. Guaranteed.

One minute they're replacing your words in a game, the next they're putting your head in a cage w/ rats and watching you masturbate in the corner.

I play Dark Souls games more like this...

That pretty much sums up my experience nicely.

As a lifelong game-playing fool of 35, i think we’ve been spoiled. The satisfaction in playing a game was first in developing a skill and then in using it to effect. Now it seems we just want to win and when we don’t get what we want we become frustrated.

I have found that there are definitely two kinds of people. Those like Mr. Reviewer, Riley, and those like me (and a couple others I’ve seen peppered in the comments).

I think if I spent thousands of hours making a game, I’d code it so every NPC the illegal downloader passed flipped change at my character (even bosses), while they muttered things like “poor guy”, “here, buy yourself something to eat”, “sorry you are so hard up, don’t worry, things will probably pick up for you in
