Why aren’t we asking for a change in the distribution of $? For starters, local cops are paid locally, not like the military who work for the whole nation. I guess you come from a smaller nation where there aren’t distinctions?

Also, forgot to mention, under environmental benefits all that corn we feed them is fertilized by petroleum (global warming) and is a monoculture (bad for environment, another rant on another day) and is often doused in pesticides. I’m shocked that list you linked to says to keep appliances that survived. We were told by several people under no circumstances to do that, because smoke/soot can get inside the appliance and accumulate on the wires, which can cause another fire.
