I was born in 1980 and we had computers when I was in 3rd grade in 1987-88. I would assume the school had them before that but I didn’t start public school until then.We only used them to play video games like Oregon Trail but we did regularly have time in the computer lab.

I have someone I correspond with regularly who adds some kind of graphic for each month and changes her name to alternating colors in that month color scheme. So for July there is a flag with fireworks and her names in in alternating red and blue.
