To be fair, Marvel really effed up with the whole InHumans thing. Since they can’t get the movie rights to the X-Men back from 20th Century Fox, they decided to sideline them in favor of the InHumans......which are kind of a flop.

Yeah, the series I read from Marvel are all pretty self-contained. Miss Marvel, Wolverine, Squirrel Girl, Hellcat, and Vision. Civil War Redux never made much sense to me.

Honestly, I don’t most people cared all that much. It’s just that the internet is an echo chamber and the loudest voice drowns out everybody else. They do care that marvel event storylines have been less than stellar, I mean holy fuck Marvel why did you think we wanted MORE Civil War, and comic books are fucking…

Miles and Gwen have been far more interesting than old Petey to me at least, think he needs a break for a while. I’ve had a few folks talk about how good Logan was but I don’t know I have it in me to sit through another oppressively dark and gritty super hero flick. I want a Squirrel Girl movie!

My sons (3 and 6) like female characters as much as male ones (they adore Wonder Woman and Rey from Star Wars). I’ve already heard random kids making fun of them for playing with “girl toys”. Children have no filter, but it enrages me when their parents overhear and say nothing.
