I store my sourdough starter in a 2L/2 qt clear circular polycarbonate Cambro that I keep in the refrigerator (I found that keeping it on the counter at room temperature led to a lot of waste for no real benefit; I just refresh whatever amount I need for my purposes). I use more 2L/2 qt circular Cambros as containers

This study was published in the journal Stroke, which is published by the American Heart Association. None of the authors are affiliated with the AHA (you can tell by looking at their affiliations on the first page of the article). None of the research was funded by the AHA (you can tell by looking at the sources of

The character being masked would solve the issue of character customization from 5 (obviously wouldn’t do anything about the male versus female choice though).  Conspiracy theory or not, seems plausible enough.  Thanks for the insight.

Any narrative payoff for the Deputy from 5?  If Joseph Seed survived the bunker, I’d assume the player character does as well, unless it’s specifically mentioned that they’d been killed.

Yeah, he was taken to task a bit in the comments.  Unusual for him that he didn’t respond.  Plus, I’d take any study that relies on self-reporting with a massive grain of salt.

Q1 2020?  Damn, painted prototype to release timelines like that are usually reserved for scale figures.  Here’s hoping Good Smile doesn’t slip the release date anymore than they have for some of their other recent releases.

I make pizza at home pretty frequently (three pizzas a week, most weeks), so I go through the canned tomatoes pretty quickly. I haven’t been able to find the brand in retail stores, so the pallets of Amazon are the only option. My wife also makes red sauce fairly frequently. I admittedly need to pause the subscribe

Indeed, I’d always known this as Mormon funeral potatoes. Have never heard the dish called Cheesy Hash Elegant.

re: the tomatoes, the SeriousEats post is also the first that shows up with Google preview when searching “whole canned tomatoes vs chopped.” Yeah, it was three and a half years ago, but I’d assume writers are aware of what their contemporaries have previously written. I’ve read through Kenji’s body of work on that

Kenji had a less aggressive headline when he wrote this article three and a half years ago. Same with the recent one about MSG that came out a couple of weeks ago. I like Claire and the Skillet, but it’s funny to see a topic show up on SeriousEats or the Cook’s Illustrated family of sites only to see it echoed here.

I favor crushed, but the consistency seems to vary across brands.  It’s too bad that a lot of the best-rated canned tomato products are hard to source for consumers (usually they are only available commercially or wholesale).

Basil.  Some brands of tomatoes include basil in their canned products.

I use crushed Sclafani tomatoes in my pizza sauce and have been nothing but happy; I get a 12 can (28 oz per) pallet delivered once a month from Amazon.  If I want an end product with a sauce-like consistency, I see no point in not just buying the product that gets me to that point the fastest anyway, i.e. crushed,

If business is struggling, I’d suggest taking a look at the PizzaMaking forums. Some of the industry vets of are members might be able to give some advice. There is a dedicated contingent who are just there for Neapolitan shoptalk too. A lot depends on your location I’d imagine. Neapolitan pizza is very much its own

So I pulled out my original copy of Advance Wars for the GBA and I was incorrect, you can save mid-battle. I’m not sure if that system existed in subsequent titles. For some reason, I thought Advance Wars featured the same suspend system that the GBA Fire Emblems and Tactis Ogre: the Knight of Lodis utilized as well.

It sounds like it mimics the Fire Emblem Battle Save feature. I don’t recall Advance Wars allowing you to save scum, but it’s been a while since I played any of those games. Into the Breach doesn’t allow mid-battle saves either, though you can pause to the menu at any time. Most turn-based strategy games don’t let you

I laughed whilst listening to the podcast upon the realization that neither Kirk nor Jason know how to pronounce “vicar.” Clearly they did not watch BBC sitcoms on PBS with their parents growing up.

TurboTax has a field for additional estimated tax payments. To my recollection, neither the IRS nor my state have sent me any physical documentation acknowledging any payments. I make my payments online, so I have a digital history of payments made for both on their respective websites.  Otherwise, just keep track of

If people think withholdings are bad, be happy you don’t have to deal with estimated tax payments. The actual calculations aren’t terrible, but it feels a lot worse to have to make payments directly after the fact versus just having that money withheld automatically from my paycheck.  Also, if you get an irregular

I’m actually kind of annoyed by this.  The devs did a major cop out in saying it would be very difficult to bring it to Switch, so not to expect anything, and then announce it’s coming to Switch like three weeks later.  I already bought it on Steam because of the aforementioned dev update.  It was only $20, but c’mon,
