Surprised Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 didn’t make the list. Likewise with Mad World, though I guess people recognize that song well enough. Happy to see The River Kwai March on there; expected to see Solsbury Hill, was not disappointed.

I’m starting to wonder if I should be charging rent—especially now that some mornings he is literally the only one left in the house once everyone has gone to work.
Well, you got lucky in that your home state got two teams. My home state (Missouri) got nothing, and neither did the closest big city (Chicago). The place I currently live (DC metro area) is close to Boston (Kraft issue), Philadelphia (Philly issue), and New York (South Korean roster), so those were all out.
She liked Fuel based on their performance in Contenders last year. I happened to pick Valiant as it was one of a few teams that did not field a roster entirely of South Koreans (Excelsior, Dynasty, and Spitfire) and was not owned either by Robert Kraft (Uprising) or Stan Kroenke (Gladiators).
Having never really watched sports before, my wife and I are really getting into watching OWL. I root for Valiant, she roots for Fuel, and we both root against the Outlaws.
Ah, didn’t know that could be seen by others.
Love the new show Tim and Gita. One piece of constructive criticism I might offer: move the scripts closer to the camera in future episodes so your eye lines match up with the camera lens. As it stands, it’s a bit distracting to watch you guys speak while looking two inches to the left of the camera.
Also, I have to be honest, I’m actually a little annoyed with Xenoblade since about 40-60 hours of my play time with that game was just queuing up missions for Ursula’s personal quest while I played Overwatch or something else. I guess they expected you to queue the missions while you were actually playing the game,…
I can see why this might bother some people, but I personally don’t particularly find much reason to care. Knowing that I have ~120 hours played in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for example does not appreciably affect my enjoyment of that game (that said, it had an in-game time counter, so doubt it is affected by this bug).
I don’t doubt that a hypothetical Moira can heal QP, my personal experience tends to suggest that this not to be the case. In my experience, assuming both teams only have one support, the team that has the Mercy tends to win over the team that doesn’t. I don’t know if that’s just because a greater proportion of the…
I can’t really see her being able to solo heal in Quick Play, though really only Mercy can do that. Given that no one really ever wants to play support except when they can play it offensively (looking at you Moira), it’s interesting to see Blizzard confront that problem head-on. You can’t not heal even if you play…
Fahey plays (or has played) on the server that was combined with mine. I can’t say I haven’t ever tracked him down before flying away awkwardly.
Yeah, that’s called the OS on my work computer likes to autocorrect correct words it doesn’t recognize automatically without the option to disable. Has made for some interesting emails.
Canonically, Overwatch’s shield-tank hero Reinhardt helped raise Brigitte—and frankly, Brigitte seems to resemble him a lot. But since we haven’t played both heroes, it’s hard to say how much they resemble each other in practice.
Was going to make the comment about Diablo 3. Someone had mentioned it yesterday in Brigitte’s reveal post.
Not really better, but I think it’s a valid question. If you can’t make it look on model at that price point, then why go for it at all only to fail? These things are prototyped; it’s not like it was on model until all of a sudden it wasn’t once they painted it. People bought the hell out of Star Wars merchandise…
I get the impression in the hard sciences there are more cases of misconduct and fraudulent data as evidenced by the frequency with which we have to take ethical refreshers. Speaking of, at our most recent lab-wide meeting, we talked about what statistical significance actually means and whether more stringent metrics…
Alternative take: chuck them in the oven for a couple hours and go play Overwatch.
Yeah, again, large data sets and meta-analysis. You didn’t disprove anything I said.
Straight up data fabrication occurs, sure, but it’s much harder to accomplish p-hacking. Any time you have a large data set and nebulous hypotheses, it’s possible. I could see people manipulating RNA-Seq or ChIP data maybe to draw a specific conclusion, but it’s not like you can just manipulate the data of a lot of…
