That was pretty much exactly what came to mind when I first saw it. The very fact that Baldwin’s impression got under Trump’s skin so thoroughly in the first place was itself a good enough reason to put up with it all this time, in my opinion, and if this is a final “fuck you” to the fascist, all the better. 

Yeah this looked super douchey butI thought maybe this was intended to be directed specifically to Trump himself, as a sort of snarky final “fuck you”.  That might be overly charitable, though.

Alec Baldwin sucks. Alec Baldwin’s impression of Donald Trump sucked. But forgive me if I don’t give the slightest fuck over Alec Baldwin holding up an ambiguous sign for two seconds that may or not mean what you seem to think it means. 

Baldwin may be a douche, but this seems to me like an overreaction to me.

Unfortunately everyone I know is about to turn our backs to the Avengers. We used to be huge fans. My children have already started burning their movie’s. Such a sad day to hear avengers say this. My teen’s took this really hard. Figured they were smarter than this

This is a very silly statement. There is no question seeing a film on the big screen can elevate the experience. The size, clarity, immersion and the sound (Nolan screwing with the audio tracks not withstanding) can not be beat in most homes. See, I always liked the sequels because they trashed the Hero’s Journey and revealed it as just another source of control. 

If only somebody had played the game and written down several statements designed to inform others what things were the same and what things were different.
