Adding to my other comment - none of which is to say I think a popcorn movie list should replace this one. They both have their places, I’m just saying that there’s value in also making one of these EOY rankings for box office hits. To throw a random number out there, a top 25 ranking of the the top 40 or 50 grossing

The reviews aren’t a collaborative ranking like these EOY lists are, which show how different people disagree on which movies are better or worse.

The question is dumb, but if you think there wouldn’t have been an equally critical blog post if Cuban had hired a man, and how doing so perpetuated the problems, you’re kidding yourself.

That he can't stop smoking long enough to pass drug tests worth literal millions of dollars should tell you all there is to know about whether he's addicted or not.

Yeah but about the real victim here, Mahk from Quincy who is now short a WR3 going into his fantasy finals this weekend? Non-ppr.

I don’t know which is sadder, that you’re so up your own ass that you think anyone is seeking validation or a “participation trophy” because they might not be interested in watching the same movies as you, or that you’re so offended by the idea of having a separate category for popular releases (whether here as I

The worst part about it is that underneath all the bullshit there’s a game that “could” be pretty great. People went in expecting an RPG when the game should’ve been packaged as, and expectations molded towards, a survival/exploration game like Rust.

They were thinking that the people who would want something like this already pay more.

Which is why I suggested two lists, not that their list is bad. Nothing wrong with different tastes, but to ignore the overwhelmingly larger group of people who want to know about the movies their friends might also have watched seems like a poor decision.

Because it’s their job? What good is an expert that can’t analyze their subject matter and contextualize it for non-experts?

Pretty sure without it there’s no way Matt Damon would’ve been able to defeat those demons.

FWIW, he prefers Cosmic Brain Genius Elon Musk.

Nathan Peterman has a favorite stapler. It is red.

Cash Carter McCarron.

So, you guys are bidding on the portraits and using them as wood chips in Drew’s smoker, yes?

The OP’s criticism is still somewhat valid though. Except for a couple movies on this list, my overall feeling was “interesting, and exhausting”.

Judging by the shape of his thumbs, I wouldn’t bet on #1

Oldness confirmed.

For all the virtue signaling Dan does on his show bringing up social issues, he seems to know less than your average ESPN viewer about any of it. They take it as fact that a) Miami needs a baseball team and b) paying for a stadium can help the local economy.
