Papyrus has been a regular alphanumeric font since at least 2006. I know because I had a professor back then who insisted on printing his overhead slides using it. It was a weird time.

That’s a cool story, but I’ll go with the verifiable fact that Sasquatch wants to charge $700 for a festival I’ve never heard of, where it originally cost a fraction of that. Don't blame "mainstream" (whatever the f that means) for the fact most festival organizers priced themselves out of an audience.

They’re just preparing for the impending Mad Max wasteland they've engineered through decades of wasteful and thoughtless economic and social policy. Heady play.

Right, it's understandable why the hosts and Telemundo had to apologize. I'm referring more to the people criticizing Mexicans on the street doing it to celebrate the Korean comeback.

Pretty sure LeBron has had no trade clauses in every one of his contracts after the first one.

Counterpoint, outside of the US it's not generally considered a racist gesture. Telemundo had to apologize because it has a large part of its business in the US, and the TV people should know they're reaching American audiences. But elsewhere I doubt it'll even be reported on - in context, they're making the gesture

The entire world doesn't know it's offensive to Asian people. In fact, the only Asian people I know who take offense to it regardless of context are Asian-Americans.

Can’t speak for the rest of Latin America, but I lived in Brazil for a decade+ and the slant eye gesture there isn’t considered racist by default, context matters.

CSGO has both features and queue times aren’t substantially longer except for the tails of the normal distribution (the high SR tail being the group of players most likely to be willing to pay to join an external league anyway). And a LFG system doesn’t do dick unless you’re 6-stacking to prevent random teammates, and

Except it’s not a role queue, it’s a group finder. Unless you’re willing to look for a 6 person group and have substantially longer queue times (and playing with the same 5 people for multiple games), it won’t do much.

Because Blizzard isn’t interested in fixing the game. A lot of people have spent a lot of effort showing what needs to be fixed and how, only for Blizzard to come back with “you see, the problem isn’t the game, it’s the players.”

I’m not in the entertainment industry so I don’t know the specific math, but it’s unfortunate that cable/OTA networks aren’t willing to break with the 20-25 episode season format.

I mean, the article you linked to regarding Nolan’s last minute rewrite of Stubbs’ scene notes that the rewrite changed how it played, not the plot point. From the VanityFair article:

I think what fans take issue with is the tone of the criticism. If you aren’t interested in a puzzle box tv show with convoluted timelines, that’s fine. But there’s people who enjoy that stuff and working out clues. With how much content is being produced today, there’s no reason why we can’t all have our own niche

The way to fix toxicity is to fix the game. Blizzard is trying to cure ebola by giving people concealer for their skin lesions.

This change is due to the new privacy laws in the EU collectively called GDPR. It's a well-intentioned but extremely poorly thought out piece of regulation that makes everything online less transparent.
