It’s a quantity-over-quality mess, for the most part. My favorite game, Legend of Dragoon, is on Fandom with some decent but incomplete content. Even if I had gotten support mending those things, underlying issues remained.

What about massive video ads that have nothing to do with the wiki you’re looking at, links constantly trying to pull you away from that wiki, and horrible formatting do you not like about it!?!?

So Jeff Gerstmann’s baby (the wiki, not Giant Bomb) gets folded into Wikia/Fandom. What an ignoble end, I guess.

I automatically click the non-Fandom wiki page if available.

I don’t think of Fandom as Wikia, I think of Wikia as its parent, the good version, something I sorely miss. Fandom’s giant video ads that you have to zoom all the way in on mobile to attempt to get rid of bother the hell out of me. Hopefully they don’t apply the same ad philosophy to Giant Bomb and the others.
